Northstar-at-Tahoe
Friday 27 November 1992

Weather

Raining at 8:30 am, conditions gradually improved during the day. Mostly cloudy, but with some sunny periods.

Conditions

The trails that were open were machine groomed and very heavy because of the overnight rain.

Overall

Not Northstar at its best.

The weather was pretty awful. It was raining at mid mountain at the start of the day.

Apart from the nursery slope from the Bear Paw lift, there was just

Limited skiing because of lack of natural snow and overnight rain. 3 lifts (out of 11) were open, including the Gondola and the Bear Paw beginner's lift. This left the Aspen quad serving the main runs down the centre of the valley only.

Easy Runs

Lumberjack
Main Street
The Gulch
